Alpine Pass
an inexpensive pass for guests who want to hike Glemmtal Valley and enjoy unrestricted use of the mountain lifts. Also includes unlimited use of the Cap'n Hook outdoor pool in Saalbach and the indoor pool in Hinterglemm, along with free rides on the valley-head train.  If you purchase the Alpine Pass in Viehhofen, you get free rides on the post bus as well.

Skiing & Ski Lifts
In Viehhofen, there is a bunny lift for beginners right next to the main road.  More interesting for most people, however, are the big ski area in Saalbach-Hinterglemm  and the Kitzsteinhorn glacier ski area in Kaprun, along with the Schmittenhöhe in Zell am See

Ski-Touring
There are 200 km of ski slopes in Glemmtal alone, but if that still isn't enough for you, you can also embark on countless ski tours.  If that's something you are interested in, you should definitely talk it over with your hosts, just to make sure you are on top of snow and avalanche conditions in the area.  Generally information is also provided by the Salzburg Avalanche Alert Service
