Ski & Snowboard

In Viehhofen itself, there is a practice lift for beginners.  But we are also connected by ski bus to the famous slopes of Saalbach-Hinterglemm-Leogang, with the region's longest slope dropping all the way back down to our valley. Enjoy your winters, with over 200 km of ski slopes, funparks, some 50 lifts and countless ski lodges.

Ski Touring

Although our valley is home to a large number of groomed ski slopes, you can also set out on countless ski tours across peaceful, undeveloped alpine summits. Especially when there is new snow on the ground, you can enjoy magical deep-snow adventures that "normal" skiers only get to dream of.

Ice Stock

This is a traditional sport in our region, one that is perhaps best explained by your host.  In winter, we hold weekly tournaments, to which visitors and locals are all invited.  Days and times are posted. Group reservations and additional information:

Ice Skating & Ice Hockey

At the tennis courts in Viehhofen, we create a sheet of ice in winter, turning it into an outdoor skating area (with floodlights). Ice skates can be borrowed free of charge at the tennis clubhouse. 
There are also the ice-covered waters of Lake Zeller See, as well as a "real" indoor ice rink in Zell am See.

Archery Trail, Glemmerhof

A summer and winter pastime for the whole family, instruction and guided tours also offered by arrangement. Warm-up range, equipment to borrow, 10 % discount with the Viehhofen Guest Card.
