Contemplative morning atmosphere in Advent

Experience the special atmosphere of the Rorate masses during Advent. These traditional church services, which are celebrated in the early hours of the morning by candlelight, invite you to a time of silence and reflection. The name "Rorate" comes from the first word of the opening hymn: "Rorate caeli desuper" ("Dew, heavens, from above"), and symbolises waiting for the light of Christ in the darkness of winter.

The Rorate Masses are a highlight of the liturgical Advent season and prepare us for the coming of the Lord, while at the same time illuminating the darkness of the season with the light of faith.
