„Stalking“ in the forest
Just on the outskirts of Viehhofen, at the Gasthof Glemmerhof, you will find one of the most attractive archery courses in Salzburger Land. This lovely circular course has been constructed in a shady forest, where life-like animals are your targets. Great fun and adventure for the whole family.

Why archery?
Archery is a fascinating sport which balances both body and spirit. Once out in the fresh air and the woodlands, the stresses of everyday life are soon forgotten. The tranquillity and natural surroundings enable you to focus on the targets and experience inner peace.
equipment & timing
As the archery course is in the forest and there are numerous narrow hiking trails, sturdy footwear such as hiking boots are recommended. Good footwear also ensures a safe stand. The path is well signposted and easy to find, but please allow plenty of time! For all 28 stations, a group of four would need approx. 3-4 hours.
A pleasant surprise: At the halfway station, you will find an area with cool drinks and snacks.
Weather?
The course, which is situated mostly in the forest, can be used in almost any weather conditions and is open all year round.
Glemmy Offroad Park
Quad Parcours, Quad Toures, Rallye Kart and much more
At the entrance to Viehhofen, you will find the Glemmy Offroad Park, a varied and challenging terrain for quad biking, offering plenty of fun and action for the whole family. On an area of 60,000 m², there are different off-road routes of varying difficulty. Great fun is guaranteed for beginners as well as the more experienced. The easiest course can also be easily negotiated by children over 6 years.
Tennis
Aufschlag, Satz und Sieg!
As you enter the village of Viehhofen, you will find two tennis courts. With the Guest Card, you can use the tennis courts for the same price as offered to club members.

Montelino’s adventure path
Experience different adventures with clown Montelino. In the Glemmtal there are various stations and adventure trails for small and large children:
Between top- and middle station of the Kohlmais cable car this attraction is waiting for you! It‘s all about the little clown Montelino who lost his smile because he neglected his friends and toys until they disappeared. Now it‘s your turn to bring the smile back to Montelino. Take a box and try to find all his friends and toys again. Follow the wise owl - it will help you! Enjoy a new adventure and help Montelino to smile again. (length: 3 km, duration: approx 1,5h for buggies suitable)
NEW: Montelino’s water playground.
The huts along the adventure path are equipped with a wide variety of playgrounds and offer fun for children and relaxation for parents.

on the Schmittenhöhe in Zell am See
Accompany Schmidolin on his adventures, solve tricky puzzles and show how brave you are. This is the only way to help the little dragon grow up and survive his baptism of fire.

Whether with the family, with a partner, or friends – mini golf is always a fun-packed experience. Mini golf courses can be found in Hinterglemm (at the outdoor park), in Saalbach (near to the small chapel) or in Maishofen (cycling and hiking).

The high rope course in Hinterglemm has different parcours in different levels between 3 and 40 metres, a total length of over 8 km, 200 different stations and 30 rope slides. Bravery and skills are demanded. Funny tasks, unusual views and above all a lot of fun.
Many different elements and stations request your abilities of climbing, balancing, sliding and swinging over diverse rope and bridge - constructions.

In Salzburger Land, you won’t find a sandy beach by the sea, but the bathing possibilities are endless. Just a few kilometres from Viehhofen you will find lake Zell, one of the most beautiful mountain lakes in Austria. The water from lake Zell is that of drinking quality and one can find many bathing locations around the lake which are just perfect for a hot summer day. There are also numerous outdoor and indoor swimming pools nearby. A perfect alternative for a rainy day, are one of the numerous spas in the area.
