  Do you like being active? Then you can reach the SchattbergXpress on foot or by bike. Take the Motorikweg, which leads from Viehhofen to Saalbach. The Motorikweg is a 4 km long path that offers you various exercises and challenges to improve your coordination, balance and dexterity. The trail is suitable for all ages and fitness levels and is fun for the whole family. The Motorikweg ends at the valley station of the SchattbergXpress, where you can park your bike or buy your ticket.

Do you prefer to travel by car? No problem, you can also easily reach the SchattbergXpress by car. Just follow the B311 from Viehhofen to Saalbach, which takes about 10 minutes. In Saalbach there are several parking spaces near the valley station of the SchattbergXpress where you can leave your car. Parking fees vary depending on the season and duration, but you can pay them on site.

Do you prefer public transport? You can also reach the SchattbergXpress by bus. Get on bus 680 that goes from Viehhofen to Saalbach. The bus runs every hour from 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and takes you in about 15 minutes to the Saalbach Schattberg X-press stop, which is located directly at the SchattbergXpress valley station. With the Viehhofen Sommercard you can use the bus for free.

The summit playground on the Schattberg is a paradise for families looking for fun and adventure in nature. It is located at an altitude of 2,000 meters at the mountain station of the Schattberg X-press gondola and offers a breathtaking view of the surrounding mountains.

The summit playground is equipped with various play equipment that is suitable for every age group. Here children can test their skills, balance and creativity while parents relax in the comfortable hammocks or seating. The highlights include a double cable car, a slope slide, a pendulum swing, a motor skills system and a rope jungle. There is also a water playground, a sandpit and a climbing wall.

Directions

If you like to be active, you can reach the 12er KOGEL on foot or by bike. A beautiful route takes you along the Motorikweg, which runs from Viehhofen to Hinterglemm. The path is approximately 8 km long and offers various stations where you can train your skills, balance and coordination. At the end you reach the valley station of the B1+B2 12er KOGEL cable car, which takes you easily to the mountain station.

If you prefer to drive, you can also reach the 12er KOGEL from Viehhofen. Follow the L111 towards Saalbach Hinterglemm and after approx. 7 km turn right onto the L112. After another 3 km you will reach the valley station of the B1+B2 12er KOGEL cable car, where you can park your car in one of the free parking spaces. From there you can take the cable car to the mountain station.

Another way to get from Viehhofen to the 12er KOGEL is by bus. With the Pinzgau mobility card, which you receive free of charge with the Viehhofen Sommercard, you can use all buses in Pinzgau for free. In Viehhofen, take bus number 680 in the direction of Zell am See and get off at the Hinterglemm 12er KOGEL Bahn stop. The entire journey takes approximately 30 minutes. From the bus stop it is only a few steps to the valley station of the cable car that takes you to the 12er KOGEL.

The summit playground at 12er Kogel in Hinterglemm is a paradise for children and families looking for fun and adventure in nature. The playground is located at an altitude of 1,984 meters and offers breathtaking panoramic views over the Glemmtal. Here the children can climb, balance, swing and slide to their heart's content while their parents enjoy the fresh mountain air and the sun.

The summit playground can be easily reached with the 12-person KOGEL cable car. The valley station is located on the western edge of the center of Hinterglemm and has free parking spaces.

The playground is divided into different areas suitable for different ages and skill levels. There is a high seat from which you have a fantastic view, a climbing course with various scaffolding and ropes, a slackline where you can test your balance and a slide that provides lots of fun. The playground is free and safe so that the children can let off steam freely.


Slackline Parcours At the 12er KOGEL middle station

Are you looking for a new challenge that will train your balance, concentration and coordination? Then slacklining is just right for you. Slacklining is a trendy sport in which you balance on a narrow band stretched between two points. No matter whether you are a beginner or advanced, whether you are young or old, slacklining is fun and trains your fitness.

At the middle station of the 12er KOGEL cable car in Hinterglemm you will find a slackline course that offers you the opportunity to try out or improve this sport. The course offers slacklines of various levels of difficulty that you can use for free. You can also enjoy a wonderful view of the mountains of Saalbach Hinterglemm.


Minigolf 12er KOGEL mountain station

Are you looking for a fun activity for yourself and your loved ones? Then mini golf on the 12 Kogel is just right for you. At an altitude of almost 2,000 meters, a new 5-lane wooden mini golf course awaits you, which is entirely dedicated to the theme of nature. Here you can put your skills and concentration to the test while enjoying the breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains.

To get to the mini golf course, all you have to do is take the 12-seater KOGEL cable car, which takes you from Hinterglemm directly to the mountain station. There you can buy a wooden ball from the machine for just 2 euros, which you can also use for the marble runs on the Reiterkogel. The wooden bats are available free of charge at the stations.

Mini golf on the 12 Kogel is not only fun for young and old, but also a great way to experience and appreciate nature. Each track has its own motif that represents the flora and fauna of the region. For example, you can recreate a butterfly, a fox or a tree. You can also find out exciting facts about the flora and fauna of the Salzburger Land on the information boards.
