In the former miners' house you can fortify yourself before or after visiting the Barbarastollen and enjoy the cozy atmosphere of the miners' room. In the Hütten museum village you can further explore the history of mining in Leogang and admire the old crafts.

Directions:
You can reach the Leogang mine by car in about 15 minutes. Take the L111 towards Saalfelden and turn left onto the B164 towards Leogang. Follow the B164 for about 12 km until you reach the Hütten district. Turn left into Schwarzleotal and follow the road for about 4 km until you see the mine on the right.
You can also visit the mine by bike, but the journey is a little longer, but all the more beautiful. Take the cycle path along the Saalach towards Saalfelden and turn right onto the cycle path towards Leogang. Follow the cycle path for about 10 km until you reach the Hütten district. Turn right into Schwarzleotal and follow the cycle path for about 4 km until you see the mine on the right.
Take bus 680 from the town center to the Abzw. Glemmtal stop. There you go up the path to the next stop, under the bridge and onto the bridge on the right. From there, take bus 260, which will take you towards Saalfelden Postplatz. From there you take bus 690 to Hütten Berg. From the stop it is just a few steps to the show mine, where you can immerse yourself in the exciting world of mining.

When you visit the Leogang mine, you can also experience two other exciting activities nearby: the Leogang Mining and Gothic Museum and the Mountain of the Senses.
The Leogang Mining and Gothic Museum is a mining museum in the Hütten district that shows the region's three thousand year mining history. Here you can admire mining masterpieces as well as sacred Gothic art of top European quality. Highlights include the prayer nut of Mary of Burgundy, a 900-year-old cross from Limoges and an altarpiece by Hans Schäuffelein.
The Mountain of the Senses is an adventure park at the middle station of the Asitzbahn that lets you experience your senses. Over 30 stations invite you to explore and enjoy nature with all your senses. Whether you want to relax in the nature cinema, play in the sensory forest, run on the barefoot path or make music on the Tonspur Islands, there is something for everyone here.
