Ski run to Viehhofen Slope No. 168

From the ski area of Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn, there is a 7.5 km run that brings you back down to the valley and the centre of Viehhofen. The ski run No. 168 is the longest in the whole area and the descent is truly thrilling.

There is also another run on the opposite side of the Glemm valley: From the Schmittenhöhe, there is an attractive ski route down into the valley. Plans have already been put into action for a lift connection with the ski area of Schmitten - Zell am See.

Ski run from Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn

The ski run to Viehhofen is not difficult to find: From the top station of the Schönleiten gondola, or the Schönleiten chairlift, turn right and take piste No. 162 (blue) to the Polten chairlift on the right-hand side. Once you have reached the top, turn right and take a few moments to take in the magnificent panoramic views of the Steinernen Meers and the Hohen Tauern. From here you can either ski to Leogang or Viehhofen. For Viehhofen, follow piste No. 168. A truly wonderful descent awaits you, which is also great for beginners (blue). Experience pure bliss skiing on the 7.5 km piste, the longest in the ski area.  Once you arrive in Viehhofen, you can either take the ski bus back in the direction of Saalbach, or head back to your accommodation, the majority of which can be reached on foot within a couple of minutes, or perhaps take some time out for a bit of après-ski.
