For mountain bikers, there is nothing better than reaching the highest point by bike and then freewheeling back down again. This dream is easily reached in the Glemm valley, for the majority of peaks can be reached by lift, as well as many mountain biking trails, making the Glemm valley a real biking Eldorado. 

In recent years, the Glemm valley has developed into an internationally known mountain bike paradise, with numerous mountain bike trails as well as great bike parks in Leogang and Saalbach Hinterglemm. Many of the surrounding lifts operating in summer, can also be used for bike transport. The result being, you are able to reach the high mountain trails with little effort, before heading back down to the valley on two wheels on the most spectacular Freeride trails.

As often mentioned, Viehhofen scores with its central location. This is also the case for mountain biking, because once you have ridden up the mountains in Viehhofen, multipurpose trails lead to Saalbach, Leogang, Saalfelden or even Maishofen. Here, short and long routes are waiting to be ridden by you.

If the combination of 2 wheels and mountains doesn't appeal to you, you can find your happiness on one of the cycle paths in the valley, which offer direct access to the cycle network of the Salzburger Land.
