Accuracy, fresh forest air, and a special nature experience right in Viehhofen
At the entrance to Viehhofen, the archery course at the Glemmerhof offers an outing that beautifully combines exercise, concentration and nature. The circular route through the woods takes you from station to station – with plenty of fresh air, a clear focus and the wonderful feeling of being outdoors. This creates shared moments of joy for families, couples and small groups.
The 28 stations, featuring lifelike 3D animals, make the course a special experience. Sometimes the focus is on accuracy, sometimes simply on the joy of being out and about. And that’s exactly what Viehhofen is all about: being active, yet staying calm and relaxed.
The trail runs largely through the forest and is therefore suitable for use in almost any weather. It is open in both summer and winter. As the route follows narrow footpaths, sturdy hiking boots are essential. For the entire circular route, a group of four should allow around 3 to 4 hours.
In summer: 50% discount on use of the course, including equipment hire, with the Glückscard.
In winter: 10% discount on use of the course, including equipment hire, with the guest card.
Please make sure you stay on the signposted path and complete the circular route, as the next archers may already be behind you.

Ask Richard or Bernd to show you the correct shooting stance. After all, you can only achieve the perfect shot with the right foot positioning and the equally important arm position. But don’t worry, these two professionals will give you thorough instruction. And who knows... perhaps Ingrid Ronacher, the world champion in 3D archery, might even pop in for a quick visit.
