Directions

From Viehhofen, drive towards Maishofen. Follow the signs to Saalfelden and take the B311. After about 10 kilometers you will reach Saalfelden. After Saalfelden, turn left onto Marzon. You will see the sign for the Alpaca Hike. Park your car in the designated parking space.

For guests arriving by bike, we recommend the Tauern Cycle Path. Via the cycle path along the Saalach river to Maishofen to the Tauern cycle path, this offers a relaxed ride through nature to Saalfelden. After Saalfelden, turn left onto Marzon. The route is flat and easy to navigate.

For guests arriving by bus, we recommend taking line 680 to Abzw. Maishofen and changing to line 260. Change again to line 60 at the Saalfelden Postplatz stop. The desired stop is Saalfelden Lenzing or Saalfelden Euring. From there it is only a few minutes walk to the alpaca farm.

Start your hike in the town center. Follow the valley outwards to the brandgut via the Jahnhütte and from there to the Saalachtaler Höhenweg towards Berggasthof Biberg. Then we go to the mountain station of the Huggenberg lift. Here you can take the summer toboggan run or walk.
