GUIDED HIKing tour

With Viehhofen Summer Card, the participation and ascent with the zellamseeXpress are free of charge.

Our hiking guide will show you the beauty of the sunny side of Viehhofen and the marvellous views on the Schmittenhöhe. You will get information about the tour at the Tourist Service Centre. The hikes take place weekly on Thursdays from the beginning of June to mid-September.
 
Price without Summer Card: Adults € 20,00 & children € 10,00
Required: Hiking boots, rain-wear and sun protection
Registration: Until Wednesday 12:00 noon at the Tourist Service Centre. Limited number of participants!
Meeting point: 08:30 am at the tourist office

Free participation with the Viehhofen Summer Card

Every Tuesday afternoon in July & August, our hiking guide shows and explains the fascination of the forest to nature-loving children. Join him on a hike through the forest and learn about nature along the children's hiking trail.

Duration: approx. 1,5 hours
Registration: until Monday 12:00 at the Tourist Service Centre. Limited number of participants! Children up to the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Good footwear required!

This hike is a special experience for the whole family. You hike at dusk with torches and lanterns to the Glemmerhof, a rustic inn with a traditional atmosphere. On the way, we tell interesting and amusing anecdotes about Viehhofen and its history. The walk takes about 2 hours and is suitable for all ages.
