Our hiking guide will take turns showing you the beauty of the sunny side of Viehhofen and the marvellous views on the Schmittenhöhe. You can find out exactly where to go at the tourist office. The hikes take place weekly on Thursdays from the beginning of June to mid-September.

Required: hiking boots, rainwear and sun protection

Every Tuesday afternoon in July & August, our trail warden shows and explains the fascination of the forest to nature-loving children. Join him on a hike through the forest and learn about nature along the children's hiking trail.

Good footwear required!

This hike is a special experience for the whole family. You hike at dusk with torches and lanterns to the Glemmerhof, a rustic inn with a traditional atmosphere. A delicious drink awaits you there, which is included in the price. On the way there and back, we tell interesting and amusing anecdotes about Viehhofen and its history. The walk takes about 2 hours and is suitable for all ages.
