Moor and herbs - a healthy story
Back to nature is the trend today. This has always been a matter of course for SonnenMoor. The Austrian family company from Anthering has been relying on the purely natural power of nature for almost 50 years. The SonnenMoor success story began in a very unusual way: the founder, Franz Fink, was neither a doctor, pharmacist nor scientist
came from a humble background and grew up with his herbal grandmother. It was not until he was an adult as a father that his own major ailments prompted him to return to his family's knowledge of herbs that had been passed down for generations. With the knowledge of the power of herbs and his innate intuition, he developed, with great success, the recipes for the effective moor and herbal products from SonnenMoor that are still valid today. Son Siegfried joined the company in 1983 and took over in 1994. Today, son Andreas Fink and nephew Heinz Fink are the third generation of the family to work in the company. Since the beginning, SonnenMoor has developed from a two-person operation to a company with 55 employees, 75 different products and around 2000 trading partners in Germany and abroad. The main concern of the company is still to strengthen the health of humans and animals and to restore quality of life. In doing so, SonnenMoor follows its values: naturalness, sustainability and humanity. To this day, all production steps are united under one roof, from moor cutting to laboratory analysis of the raw materials to bottling and shipping.
