The Käpt'n Hook in Saalbach is a true paradise for water lovers and sun worshipers. With a water surface of 1,000 m², it offers a variety of attractions that will delight both young and old.
One of the highlights is certainly the wild water canal, which takes you on an exciting journey through the cool water. Or how about a ride on the water slide? Here you can immerse yourself in fun and forget the world around you for a moment.
For those who want to take it easy, there are massage jets and gargoyles that create a relaxing atmosphere. And if you need a break after all the fun, you can make yourself comfortable on the lawn and enjoy the warm rays of sunshine.
Another highlight of Käpt'n Hook is the panoramic restaurant on the ship's deck. Here you can enjoy a refreshing drink or a delicious snack and enjoy the view of the hustle and bustle in the pool and the surrounding mountains.
Directions:
Viehhofen is an ideal starting point for cycling tours. You can cycle along the Saalach River and enjoy the picturesque landscape.
For hikers, there are numerous hiking trails that connect Viehhofen with Saalbach. The exact route and duration depends on your pace and the route you choose.
From Viehhofen you can reach Saalbach via the L111 and the Glemmtaler Landesstraße. The journey takes about 10 minutes. Please note that during high season traffic can be heavy and parking spaces in Saalbach may be limited.
In summer there is a direct bus connection from Viehhofen town center to Saalbach Schattberg X-Press. Buses run every hour and the journey takes approximately 16 minutes. Please note that with the Viehhofen Sommercard, travel by public transport is free.
