Mini golf is a popular leisure activity for young and old that combines skill, concentration and fun. In Saalbach and Hinterglemm you will find two attractive mini golf courses that offer you and your loved ones an unforgettable playing experience. The mini golf courses are easily accessible from Viehhofen, where you can book comfortable accommodation for your vacation.

Saalbach

In Saalbach, a modern mini golf course awaits you behind the Tourism Service Center. The facility has 18 lanes that offer you different challenges. Whether you play over bridges, through tunnels or around obstacles, there is something for everyone. The facility is also suitable for wheelchair users and offers you a beautiful view of the chapel and the village square.

Directions:

From Viehhofen you have several options to get to the mini golf course. The most convenient and cost-effective way is to use public transport. With the Viehhofen Sommercard, which you receive when you check in at participating companies, you can travel through Pinzgau free of charge by bus and train. All you need to do is take bus 680, which leaves every hour from Viehhofen and takes you to the Saalbach Tourismusverband stop in about 15 minutes. From there it is only a few meters to the mini golf course.

A sporty alternative is to ride a bike. The cycle route from Viehhofen to Saalbach runs along the Motorikweg, an adventure trail with various stations that promote your coordination and balance. The journey takes between 30 and 60 minutes depending on your pace and offers you a great view of the landscape.

If you prefer to walk, you can also use the Motorikweg route. The hike from Viehhofen to Saalbach takes between 2 and 3 hours, depending on your fitness level.

The fastest but also most expensive option is to travel by car. You have to drive on the L111. The journey takes between 9 and 15 minutes, depending on traffic conditions. You can leave your car in one of the parking lots in Saalbach and walk to the mini golf course.

For example, you can visit the motor skills trail, which offers 30 stations with different exercises for the body and mind. Or you can visit the local history museum, where you can learn more about the history and culture of the region.

Hinterglemm

In Hinterglemm you can look forward to a traditional mini golf course next to the family park. The facility consists of 12 lanes that blend harmoniously into nature. You play on artificial turf and wood and experience an authentic mini golf feeling. The facility is ideal for families with children who can let off steam in the family park after playing mini golf.

Directions:

The easiest and cheapest option is to use public transport. If you stay overnight in a participating establishment in Viehhofen, you will receive the Viehhofen Sommercard, which allows you to travel through Pinzgau free of charge by bus and train. You just have to take line 680, which runs from Viehhofen Ortsmitte to Hinterglemm Ellmauweg. The journey only takes 21 minutes and you get off near the mini golf course. The bus runs several times a day, so you can plan flexibly.

If you prefer to travel by bike, you can use the cycle path along the Saalach, which leads from Viehhofen to Hinterglemm. The cycle path is well signposted and offers you wonderful views of the mountains and the valley. You can also take the motor skills path, which runs parallel to the bike path and offers various stations to promote mobility and coordination. The motor skills path is also suitable for pedestrians.

If you like hiking, you can also walk from Viehhofen to Hinterglemm to the mini golf course. You can either use the bike path or the motor skills path, or you can choose one of the numerous hiking trails that lead through the forests and meadows. You will be rewarded with a great view and fresh air.

Of course, you can also drive from Viehhofen to Hinterglemm to the mini golf course if you are in a hurry or are not that sporty. The journey time is approximately 12 minutes. You have to take the B311 and the L111 and follow the signs to Hinterglemm. There is a parking lot at the mini golf course, but this is subject to a charge.
